Thaing
Thaing is the term for martial arts systems developed in ancient Burma (now known as Myanmar). Thaing translates to total combat and is often used to describe Burmese martial arts that use weapons. The traditional style is very selective and known only to a few practitioners, all of whom select their students carefully. A more well-known form is Thaing Byaing Byan.
Thaing combines elements of both Chinese and Japanese martial arts systems, including kicks, punches, throws and rolls.
